Anyone else excited that Summer is almost here? I know this is rarely the case with people who love fashion, but I am generally far more excited about dressing for the hot and hazy months than winter. It's more optimistic, more fun, and in many ways, less complicated. Case in point: the Juniper Jumpshort by Fidelity Denim. One-piece dressing that looks and feels good, featuring super-soft distressed indigo ticking in a cut that goes from summer days to summer nights. With heels or flats, acessorized-up or in all it's minimalist glory, it's a piece that I plan on wearing over and over. Yes, I'm rather pasty and that photo was taken just five weeks after giving birth to my son (I must be nuts) but that's how excited I am for summer clothes, and a testament to how good wearing these makes me feel. Summer(ish), at last! I won't be surprised if I am tempted to wear this every other day for the next few months. It could happen.
The whole Fidelity Denim line for SS'15 is really on point. At this time of year, I especially appreciate the easy, lived-in feel that some items have. Definitely have my eye on some of the sleeveless tops, because I live sleeveless. It's just how I am. If the of-the-moment (again) flares are your thing, they have those too. All in high quality denim that will last and last.
AND.....to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Fidelity and the 40th(!) birthday of Toronto denim institution Over The Rainbow, the two have teamed up for a little something something special. Fidelity denim designer Jason Trotzuk has created jeans exclusively available at OTR. Note the iconic rainbow stitching on the pockets. I love. Find more about those here, or just head in to OTR and check them out.
